Chief Pancoast began his law enforcement career in 1974 and accepted his first Chief’s position in 1981. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Security Administration, and has a Master Peace Officer license. He is certified in Homeland Security, is a Certified Protection Professional, and an Emergency Medical Technician. Chief Pancoast has provided testimony on critical infrastructure protection issues to the Texas Legislature, the Texas Public Utility Commission, the Governor’s Taskforce on Homeland Security, and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas. He is currently under appointment by the Governor to serve on the Critical Infrastructure and Key Resource Protection Council. Chief Pancoast has lived in the Lake Travis area since 1998, and is honored to be able serve the citizens of and visitors to the City of Bee Cave.

Lieutenant Montez graduated from the police academy in 1982 and went to work for the St. Mary’s University Police Department. After a few years, he accepted a position at the Central Texas Parole Violator Facility where he remained for 16 years and was elevated to the position of Captain. He gained additional experience working for several other agencies before coming to Bee Cave in 2005. Lt. Montez holds his Advanced Peace Officer’s License and is certified as a Proficiency Instructor. In addition, he has received numerous hours of specialized training in various areas of law enforcement. His goals for the department are to guide the officers in achieving higher levels of education and training, and to continue to implement and maintain the highest levels of administrative management.

SSGT Pitmon served our Country as an Infantryman in the US Army from 1992 through 1994, becoming a Licensed Peace Officer in 1995. SSGT Pitmon’s first assignment was as a Deputy Constable for Denton County. He was then recruited by the Denton County Sheriff’s Office to serve in the Fugitive Investigations/Warrants Division. While serving in Denton County, SSGT Pitmon was assigned to the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, and sworn as a Special Deputy Marshal of the US Marshal’s Service. SSGT Pitmon also worked three years in Narcotics with the Brazos Valley Narcotics Task Force (2003-2006). SSGT Pitmon holds his Advanced Peace Officer’s License, TCLEOSE Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Field Training Officer, and a wide variety of specialized training.

Sergeant Kuecker was a member of the United States Air Force, serving during Desert Storm/Desert Shield. He began his law enforcement career in 1997 with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office where he worked as a patrol officer for nine years. He then joined the Houston Police Department and later became a dispatcher with Brenham Emergency Communications. Officer Kuecker came to Bee Cave in 2007. He holds his Advanced Peace Officer’s License; has received training in Advanced Motor Vehicle Theft; and is qualified as a TCLEOSE Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Field Training Officer, and Telecommunications Operator.

Sergeant Hudson was influenced at a young age to pursue a career in law enforcement by his God Father, who was a police officer for 30 years. Officer Hudson worked in the MHMR profession for seven years prior to enrolling in the Police Academy. In 2004, he joined the Burnet County Sheriff’s Department, where he worked in the jail and as a patrol deputy. He then served in the Travis County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office prior to coming to Bee Cave in 2007. Officer Hudson is certified in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. He enjoys working with juveniles and has an interest in becoming certified as a K-9 Officer.

Detective Sidenblad was a US Army Combat Medic for seven years. He ended up in police work by accident when he went to City Hall intending to join the EMS in 1995. His first law enforcement job was with the El Paso Police Department where he spent 5-1/2 years, first as a patrolman and later as a detective. He also worked in investigations for the Weimar Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office prior to coming to Bee Cave in 2007. Det. Sidenblad holds his Advanced Peace Officer’s License and has received special training in Arson Investigations and as a forensic hypnotist. He is a seasoned CID investigator who is responsible for all crime scene investigations for the department.

Officer Radford has been in law enforcement since 2002. He was employed by the cities of Poth and Converse prior to coming to Bee Cave in the fall of 2005. Officer Radford was the first officer hired by the Bee Cave Police Department at its inception. He holds his Intermediate Peace Officer’s License as well as a Mental Health Officer License. He is a certified TCLEOSE instructor and has received training in Drug Abuse Recognition. In addition, he is the department’s Fire Arms Instructor and Weapons Proficiency Officer. Officer Radford’s motto is "Bee-have in Bee Cave!"

Officer Morrow was in the US Navy from 1996-1999 where he worked on F/A 18 fighter jets. He was stationed in Atsugi Japan and spent two years in Iraq. He became interested in law enforcement in 1998 after losing a close family member to drugs. Officer Morrow joined the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office in 2005. He was assigned to the 277th District Court where he monitored the court in felony cases as a Court Bailiff. He came to Bee Cave in 2007. Officer Morrow has s special interest in drug interdiction and keeping drugs out of Bee Cave.

Officer Taylor spent six years in the Army as a SATCOM Tech and Paratrooper. From 1996-1997 he was involved in the Bosnian Conflict. He began his law enforcement career at the Bell County Sheriff’s Office in 2001, where he was employed for three years. He then accepted a position with the Rogers, Texas, Police Department where he served for another three years, prior to coming to Bee Cave in 2008. Officer Taylor is a TCLEOSE certified instructor. In addition, he holds certifications in Advanced Evidence and Property Management as well as Cyber Crime Techniques, his area of special interest.

Officer Meiners first became interested in police work as a teen when he joined APD’s Law Enforcement Explorer Post. Prior to becoming a police officer, he was certified as an intermediate EMT. He also spent eight years working security at the IRS. Officer Meiners graduated from the police academy in 1993. His law enforcement experience includes serving as a reserve deputy with the Williamson County Constables Office and full-time with both the Leander PD and the Jonestown PD, prior to coming to Bee Cave in 2008. He is a licensed pilot and currently serves as a Captain with the US Air Force Auxiliary-Civil Air Patrol. In addition, he is a Stephen Minister at his church.

Officer McDaniel received his first “real job” when he was 19 years old as a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He worked for the state prison system for five years before he realized he wanted to do more for the community. In April 2000 he started with the Palestine Police Department. He worked there until 2006 when he first went to work for Bee Cave Police Department. Officer McDaniel worked at Bee Cave briefly before going back to the Palestine Police Dept. as a K-9 officer. There he worked as the K-9 Handler until he came back to work for the City of Bee Cave. He looks forward to the growth and opportunities that the City of Bee Cave has to offer.
